What was your favorite thing about UCSF East Bay?
The amazing people – co-residents, faculty, staff, and the patients.
What about UCSF East Bay helps you in your career now?
The early autonomy really helped me. I had true ownership of patients and services as a senior resident, and an excellent operative experience throughout.
What would you like to share with applicants about your experiences at East Bay?
UCSF East Bay is a very special place. The years I spent training there were some of the most challenging yet gratifying years of my life. I have no regrets in choosing to train at East Bay.
Do you have a favorite story from UCSF East Bay?
As a Chief Resident, I remember watching the junior resident take the intern through the same case that I taught her how to do back when I was the junior and she was the intern.
