Definitely the people, breadth of teaching, and multiple teaching sites.

​What about UCSF East Bay most helps you in your career now?

The independence and operative experience at UCSF-East Bay really prepared me to work in a more rural environment where surgical subspecialists are sometimes not readily available.

​What would you like to share with applicants about your experiences at East Bay?

I don’t think you can beat the combination of clinical/operative experience, camaraderie, research opportunities, and patient population/location.
