What was your favorite thing about UCSF East Bay?
The camaraderie amongst the residents.
What would you like to share with applicants about your experiences at East Bay?
I think East Bay offers an unprecedented level of autonomy for the modern surgical resident. In order to truly grow as a surgeon, one needs to learn how to think and function independently. East Bay thoughtfully provided this independent experience without compromising patient safety. If you’re looking for a sense of purpose while developing friendships that will last your whole career, you should consider East Bay for sure!
Do you have a favorite story of working with a resident?
I have too many stories to tell! Probably not a single favorite.
